Therapist
I currently hold an active Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license. I work with evidence-based modalities, with a heavy focus on trauma therapy. I have experience working with veterans, those struggling with cancer and other catastrophic illnesses, women’s issues, and LGBTQ+ issues.
I have worked with adults and adolescents in multiple settings, including the University of Utah Mental Health Clinics, research in addiction and recovery through PARKA, the Emergency Department with high-acuity mental health issues, and working with military sexual trauma (MST) and combat trauma. I treat a broad range of disorders and specialize in treating adults with childhood trauma (chronic PTSD).
I have a passion for attachment theory and helping individuals and couples create stronger relationships. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), The Gottman Method, Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Grief and Loss Counseling, Mindfulness, Somatic Therapy, and Solutions-Focused Therapy (SFT).
